Who we are
Movement & Method (“Movement & Method,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is an education business operated by Dionne and Regina. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit this website or apply to one of our programs, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us directly when you complete a program application, including:
- Your name, email address, and phone number
- Your social media handle
- Your responses to application questions, including your business background and goals
- Your stated payment readiness and any payment-option requests
We also collect limited technical information automatically when you visit this site, such as your browser type, device type, referring page, and pages viewed. We do not use this information to identify you personally.
How we use your information
- To review your application and decide whether a program is a fit
- To contact you about your application, enrollment, scheduling, and program materials
- To send you information about our programs, offers, and updates, where you have consented
- To process payment for a program you enroll in
- To improve our programs and this website
Text messages
If you check the applicable consent boxes on an application, you agree to receive text messages from us at the number you provide.
- Non-marketing messages relate to your application, enrollment, and program logistics.
- Marketing messages may include offers, discounts, and program announcements.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for assistance. Consent to marketing messages is not a condition of purchase. Opting out of marketing messages does not opt you out of messages about a program you are enrolled in.
We email you about your application and, if you enroll, about your program. Marketing emails include an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing email does not stop email about a program you are enrolled in.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the business, and only as needed to do so. These include our customer relationship and messaging platform, our payment processor, our email provider, and our video conferencing provider. We may also disclose information where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
Payment information
Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store your full card number or bank account details on our systems.
Program sessions
Live sessions may be recorded for the benefit of enrolled students. If you participate on camera or by voice, you may appear in a recording made available to your cohort. Let us know before a session if you prefer not to be recorded.
Data retention
We keep application information for as long as needed to evaluate and respond to it, and to keep records of enrollment. You may ask us to delete your information at any time using the contact details below.
Your choices
- Opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP
- Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link in any message
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Request correction or deletion of your information
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state or national privacy law. Contact us and we will honor any request the law requires us to honor.
Children
Our programs are for adults. This site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students directly.
